I am so excited to be 3rd place winner in the August Not-A-Raffle-Raffle and the prize I chose is the Drift Roses from Perfect Plants! I have been drooling over those beauties since the first time I saw photos and I really look forward to growing them!

Perfect Plants Nursery is located in the area of the Florida panhandle, right in the zone where Category 1 Hurricane Hermine is headed. It's supposed to make landfall sometime overnight tonight. My thoughts are with all in the path of the storm and I hope everyone stays safe!

Thank you so much for your good thoughts! We are doing great after the storm, thankfully the nursery sustained no damage and we were only without power for 2 days. The city of Tallahassee didn't fare as well, some of our neighbors are still without power, but everyone is pulling together and helping how they can! Grateful as it could have been much worse!

We look forward to sending you your roses!

Audrey you gave me a good laugh..

Thank you to; the vendors who donate the wonderful plants, seeds, @jmorth for donating the Acorn 's and special thank you to Dave and Family.

Thank you to my special Garden family here you are a prize every day for me.

I was shocked then I was excited because I never win anything. I have said many times "No Luck" seems to has been my BFF for the last 10 yrs.

I picked the roses because I have been planting a rose bed at the entrance driveway. I have in the bed Knock outs, Amber Flower carpet rose, Drift red and a Fairy rose. This Spring I purchased Popcorn Drift and life took over and it died because we had extreme heat and I did not water the poor plant.

I received my 3rd place winning prize of the 4 Drift Roses from Perfect Plants today! Lovey dubby
The plants arrived in great condition and the packaging was amazing! Included in with the plants was 4 small packets of fertilizer to be used at planting time, a pamphlet with precise planting instructions as well as a 20% off coupon that's good through the end of this month ... so I'm going to order a couple of Azaleas that I saw at their website!

Thank you @PerfectPlants for being such a generous sponsor of our Not A Raffle Raffles ... your company gets an A+ from me!

Yes, I got 2 Coral and 2 Peach! This afternoon I ordered 2 Rhododendron indicum 'Formosa'. They have pinkish to purplish blooms and are so pretty; we had them for many years at our house in Daytona Beach and I've missed them.
