Seedling from last fall from seed of "Petch Na Wang x Self".

Rick I really like the shape. The flower just ads to it.

Interesting growth habit the way the main stem appears to have almost no taper in the leafless area. I'm a little "species ignorant" on some of these varieties - is this an inter or intra species hybrid?

Ok, so I looked it up and see that this is an arabicum species. I see some referred to as "dwarf Petch Na Wang" and some just as "Petch Na Wang" - is the "dwarf" redundant (meaning is Petch Na Wang dwarf variety) or are there dwarf and "regular" varieties of Petch Na Wang?

Thanks!

You know Carter, I am not really sure. There are so many Arabicum & Thai Soco's and most being hybrids of both or through crossing. I believe that the Dwarf is just a form that was produced and trying to create a "new" hybrid. It is really becoming so conveluded w all the different ones available.
PNW is an older hybrid.
This one has grown taller, because I neglected to get it potted up into a wider pot.
