Hi Levi, Welcome! to NGA

Love your bunny. He looks just like a Dutch Miniature I had way back in the 1960's (Okay, just proved I'm OLD!). He was my traveling partner during my misspent youth. Smiling

Where do you live? Your plant looks a lot like some asters that live in the desert around here.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming...."WOW What a Ride!!" -Mark Frost

Vernonia gigantea? (I believe Levi is in Ohio from previous posts - Levi maybe you could add your location to your profile, which would help with identificaitons?)

My guess is also Vernonia, either Smooth Ironweed (Vernonia fasciculata) or Giant Ironweed (Vernonia gigantea)

Good job @sooby Thumbs up

This article http://floraofohio.blogspot.co... says V. fasciculata is found only in the eastern fringe of Ohio and that Ironweed (Vernonia missurica) is endangered and only found in two counties. The article also states that although there are four different native species found in Ohio, 99% of the time, the Ironweed encountered in the state is V. gigantea!
