The flower form looks wrong for "Again & Again", but it has form issues in the Fall.

I think I have discouraged rebloom this year successfully, but will have to see for sure in the next week or so.😊

At first I thought I had two stalks on the same seedling, but upon closer inspection it's two different plants, so maybe the second one will be something different from the first one, although they will be siblings.

I have a little bloom stalk on MTB Lady Emma. I just planted it this summer and was not expecting a rebloom on it.

Over and Over has its second bloom open and a third bud is now in the works. No company from other rebloomers yet. Sure smells wonderful.

And of course Daughter Of Stars is still blooming. That one is a sure bloomer for both spring and fall.

Thanks for sharing Sherry! I'm going to have to invest in some more re-bloomers! I looked up Spring Bliss ans it's one that's not registered as a re-bloomer. Has it re-bloomed for you before?

It's listed in the reblooming checklist as "reported in California", so all you "7,8 &9" folks have a good chance of seeing it !

@crowrita arlyn sorry to be so dense, but where might that information be found? is in part of the iris plant database info, such as if one is looking up 'sugar blues' and it lists the pertinent facts ( e/m/re, etc)? Shrug!

i am still trying to find my way around the technical aspects of this iris platform...as well as all the gazillion wonderful shared knowledge that y'all impart. by the time I retire for the day @ 2-3 a.m. pst my head's still swimming from information garnered from the many iris forum posts i've read that day.

i'm in a whirlpool ingesting all i can about rebloomers, because i have recently learned that someone in my area has blooms seven months of the year! i'm so excited i'd like it to be me, too. i guess rebloomers like it here and i would like to try some...not all, because i still love other irises that put on a spectacular display once-a-year. Lovey dubby

The Reblooming iris Society collects "rebloom reports" from it's members, and publishes the 'Reblooming iris Checklist', which will tell you 'where" the iris has been reported to rebloom. Of course, they can only 'report' what is sent TO them, so it's not 100%, but, it IS information from 'real" gardens, which, IMHO, is much better than buying an Re iris, hoping for rebloom.....and never getting it (despite the proper *care*) because the iris "reblooms" in zone 8, and YOU garden in zone 4 ! here's a link to their webpage, and, if you poke around a bit, you'll find purchase information for the "book" version of the checklist, as well as the "CD" version . There is also information on joining Sticking tongue out !

Remember all the whining I've been doing about having absolutely NO rebloomers this fall????

Green Grin!

Daughter of Stars did not disappoint -- although she has NEVER bloomed this late before:
Thumb of 2016-11-06/Muddymitts/a7e532 And she has three bloom stalks!!! Lovey dubby

And new for me this year is Double Shot:
Three bloom stalks on this one too!!

Hurray!

Awesome Mary Ann! Since we're having such a mild fall it looks like they may finish their rebloom cycle before getting frozen.

There was a prediction for temps in the 20's on next Saturday, but I see they have moved the predicted low temp up above freezing now.
