These Japon hollie trees have gotten much taller than the house and look messy. I'd like to basically cut the trunks much lower. If I do that will tops eventually grow back, only lower? That is what I'd like. Tops growing lower so I can manage them better. So question is if I cut the trunks low now will branches grow to form new tops?

They will definitely sprout back again, but I have no idea what it will look like.
