It truly is a beauty and I don't recognize it either! ![]() Any day you wake up on the sunny side of the grass is a good day. "The moving hand writes and having writ moves on. Blue Curls I would say & a beautiful job of photographing them Fleur. A nation mourns its fallen soldiers, who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. And Junior? Well, Junior spies their solemn white graves from the back of his limousine, and he grieves for the inconveniences he overcame for his silver spoons. Quoth the Craven “Nevermore.” ~Walter Shaub~ |

Lovely flower and photo, Fleur. Could it possibly be Clerodendrum ugandense? GrammaChar |
GrammaChar, Clerodendrum ugandense is now a synonym Butterfly Bush (Rotheca myricoides subsp. myricoides) |

One of my favorites! So very pretty, Fleur569. “For even the Son of Man/Jesus did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”” Mark 10:45 |

Very beautiful banner! I grew these one year seems like I ordered them from a seller in Florida. They are such a different beautiful flower form anything else I ever grew. A friend in Florida grew them of course they grew much larger for her and even wintered outdoors. If you want to be happy for a lifetime plant a garden! Faith is the postage stamp on our prayers! When our local Target had a nursery, it carried this plant each year. It's quite tender and couldn't survive even a mild winter in our zone (9a), but I suspect that all of the stores in the Target chain carried the same plants with no regard for USDA zones. In spite of its fragility, I used to buy the plant each year. This beautiful banner reminds me why I paid top perennial prices for plants that could never be anything more than "annuals" in my garden. |
