Background history:

'Artist Etching' is a dormant tetraploid introduced in 1984 by Rudolph. No further info is known except that there are 59 registered cultivars by this hybridizer.

Artist Etchings is a late bloomer. No known registered children are listed.

Another first year plant for me and I loved the simple-ness of this flower.

These flowers are just a joy to look at with light ruffles along the edges and just a nice sweet color.

In my south facing 5B garden, Artist Etching started blooming for me on July 11. There were several scapes and they bloomed for several weeks
