I constantly use the plant DB here to paste links on FB for ID & individual plant discussions there and often it shows a preview pic that's a multi-plant pic, and looks like it's the wrong plant being linked. If there's any way to specify not using those pics when there's a remote link, it would be a much more accurate presentation/representation.

I have not yet been able to get facebook to know which image I want used. It seems random that they grab any image from the page you're linking to. This is something I'll research more.

Tiffany- sometimes FB gives you the option to choose from several before you actually post. It takes it a few seconds to think before it is an option, so be patient before you click on the "post". Mind you, it's facebook...so the option isn't always there , but I've learned to wait a few seconds first. FB is a source of frustration, for sure!

I haven't seen that on google or firefox browsers, but will look for it next time I'm pasting a link to a DB entry. TYVM!

I use Chrome. Like I said, it works sometimes
I do all of the FB postings for NGA, and it can be a very frustrating experience to get the photo I want to show! FB makes me kooky
