I have little time this morning, so sitting here with my cup of coffee I decided to make a top 10 most wanted list for next year. I left off the 2015-2016's (soon to be 2017's) because that could be a list in itself.
Today, my top 10 list looks like this:
Captain Thunderbolt
Carousel of Dreams
House Arrest
Maggie Beth
Midnight Embers
Patchwork Puzzle
Seasons In The Sun
Strut Your Stuff
Touch of Mahogany
Tuscan Summer
I'm sure it will change a little when Spring rolls around.
Name: Jan Wax Mendocino County, N. CA (Zone 9a) I'm a semi-retired studio potter.
Liz, it was in the least desirable bed, far from the house and the hose, and it got dry. So I dug it up and found the three increases. It's in the deck "nursery" and doing well.
During the heat of the Tuscan Summer, Stan went up to Maggie Beth and asked her "Would you like a Touch of Mahogany?". For which Maggie replied, "go ahead and Strut Your Stuff"...
My top 10 doesn't include the irises I'll be ordering from Tempo Two since they won't be on my wishlist for long
Magic Mirror
I Meant to Do It
Big Band
Mood Ring
Sergey
Party Rock
Edge of the World
Big Hat No Cows
Chocolate Soup
Sutton’s 2017 Mego intro – name in progress
Liz, I can send you Edge of the World next year. Chocolate Soup is still a single rhizome, but she plumped up nicely. I left off some Mego's that are on my list too.
OK now I know who Stan is.
Those threads are absolutely hilarious and brilliant - I looked at the start thinking I'd skim a few posts, and ended up completely hooked. If you read it all at once, as a story, it's tears-down-your-face funny. Congrats to everyone who contributed. And for the laugh.

My top ten right now would be....
Burlesque cutie
Mordor
Canine Caper
Mesa Sunrise
Orange Obsession
Here Come The Clowns
Morning Hues
My Cher
Mordor
Comic
Scroundel
All SDB's of course. I have a few more (few!!!) I am looking for but for now these are at the top of my list.
Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul— How can I keep from singing?
Bonnie, I got a lot of those this year and they came with a bunch of increases already so check back in with me next Spring if you still need/want them.

Liz, tree mail me possibilities so I don't order them. I know a lot can happen to a garden between now and sharing time but I would rather trade, or for postage, and order the ones from vendors that no one has to share.

Oh God it's too early for dear Stan and the gang already. That has to come at the height of the winter light deprivation season. My top ten are yet to be determined. It will be made up of new introductions I'm sure and I haven't seen those yet.
Bonnie must really like Mordor, it's on her list twice!
Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often, and for the same reason.
