Plant ID forum: Exotic angel

Got this at a clearance sale at Lowes and it just says "Exotic angel plant". I googled and it turned out there are lots of plants under this trademark so was wondering what it is exactly so that I know its watering and light requirements.

It looks like some sort of Tradescantia.

My eyes are still a bit blurry from dilation at the eye doctor today so I'm not sure it's the same as the plant I have in the first picture below. I think @purpleinopp/Tiffany grows a few Tradescantia and their relatives so maybe she will be able to give an exact ID. Are the leaves on your plant kinda soft and furry?
