Sorry to hear the sad news about Barney. He had a short life, but he was loved and cared for, and that's what matters. Group hug

Hope you get rain soon. The drought broke here the day after my DH bought a submersible pump and a hosepipe to water some newly laid sods near the edge of the pond. Apparently buying watering equipment works better than a rain dance.

My usual method is to wash the car, haul out a large and unwieldy carpet and shampoo it on the driveway, and then do a massive load of laundry and hang it outside to dry...if that doesn't work, try washing the windows and planning an outdoor party. *LOL*

Thank you for your sympathy; it has been a very difficult month here with our pets.
The end is nothing, the journey is all.
