I received 2 baby hibiscus trees at the beginning of summer. They were getting really bushy but not growing upward (they are the hibiscus that grow up to 8 feet tall and 4 feet wide) I took off all the bottom leaves..about 3 inches and it started to grow taller. Now I have brought them indoors for the winter they are between 12 to 18 inches and not very bushy actually a little spindly and still blooming. Am I on the right track or should they look different. I don't think there is anything left to prune and that was the only pruning I did when I took off those bottom Leaves. Im trying to get them to look like topiary trees with the bare bark at 4 feet with the top a bushy ball. I have seen them done like that and they are beautiful. I included pic. Thank you for any advice. I can't seem to uploa d my pics but thereally ate pics in the original posting ig you can find it about a week or 2 ago

Hi katlongchamps, Welcome!
Is it possible for you to upload a photo of your Hibiscus so that we can get a better idea of what's going on?
