Hi all! I live in Maine and have quite a mature perennial garden. It's possible that I will sell my home & move within the next few months to a new home. I'd like to separate a knock out rose shrub to move and plant at the new property. I'd also like to dig up, pot and over winter some other perennials in my garden (chrysanthemum, mini hydrangea, tickseed, bee balm, white violet, cobalt blue primrose, etc...) until I can safely get them in the ground at the new location. I need advice. Would they survive if potted for winter, kept in garage & planted in late winter/early spring 2017?
Also, any advice on splitting up a large knock out rose shrub is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
