You say you use 3 -5 seeds per cup. Do you thin out (cull) the weaker ones, or transplant them all? How long do you wait before you transplant?

kytnbabe - Good luck with the seeds. I've grown some of Cindy's (hemlady) seeds, too, and have gotten some lovely bloomers! Just make sure that you don't keep the seedlings too wet. I typically water once or twice a week in the Winter months. And I do add a little H2O2 to the water to prevent root rot.

Thank you Becky! We have a small greenhouse and I'm wondering if the seeds would do well there or if they need the warmth of the house over the winter. I'd also like to know what liquid fertilizer you prefer. We have Miracle Gro on hand and my daughter has Fish fertilizer.

I am not sure about the greenhouse because heat does help them grow. I grow mine inside on a sunny south window sill during Winter (which I have a sheer half-curtain in front of the window and the cups of seedlings behind the curtains so that they do not get burned by the sun coming directly through the glass). I typically use MiracleGro at 1/2 strength.

I have to ask, are you from or located in KY or TN ?

Teresa - Good question as the location could play a factor in growing them in a greenhouse or even sowing them directly in the ground.
