Still wanting to give away 25 acorns to the 5 individuals that respond to this post that have not received any during this spirit of giving. (5 per indi for a total of 25) Welcome to NGA
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

@crawgarden- I would love to have 25 more acorns. But I'm not sure what you mean by 'this spirit of giving'?
Are you referring to a specific time period? And did you previously post this? I don't know if I qualify, but my philosophy is to ask because 'ya never know'.

Even if I don't qualify, I want to say that you are being very generous. And no, you didn't hear a giant sucking sound. I really mean it.

Over on the Not a Raffle Raffle page it was Robert Duval who started the ball rolling by offering acorns to the first 10 to reply. See it here:
The thread "First 10 to reply...." in The October Not-A-Raffle-Raffle!

Others decided to also pay it forward and the acorn give-away has been happening here:
