Hi, can anyone identify this shrub that we have inherited in our new garden? It stands about 2ft high and 3ft across. We are in County Durham in the north of England. It looks like it is in need of a good prune. We see to remember it has pink flowers (sorry it's been quite a year).

Welcome Connie from a fellow Northern Englander! It looks like it could be a dark leaved Wiegela.
