I got several cuttings in trade last fall, and they have grown to be very nice, healthy plants. All are in various size, hanging baskets. This is the first to bloom.

Some of the plants have really gotten large. I have them either in 8" pots of 8-10" hanging baskets.

I have to downsize my collection this year. I simply do not have space. If I could just keep the oxypetalums smaller and still get them to bloom it would be ideal.

I sure know what you mean, Linda. These plants grow large and like you, space is at a premium at the Ramsey house.

Linda, are still going to have your greenhouse replaced? Is the original beyond repair? I agree about the E. Oxypetalums. That one and E. Hookerii just keep getting larger and larger and taking up more space. Now if I can just get them to bloom regularly. Whistling

Hi Deebie, The plan really is to replace the greenhouse, however events have changed and it will be a while before that happens. What was left of the original greenhouse was demolished and plants stored for the winter in storage sheds with not enough light. I have been feeding them today. Hopefully I can get them all outdoors again soon.

Get them rootbound and they will bloom. I love the oxy and strictum blooms. They smell heavenly at night. They do get quite large.

Group hug Group hug Linda. Are you all getting some of this crazy weather this week? I heard that sections of Myrtle Beach received snow already this week. Blinking Confused
