Hi, I just thought I'd do a post on my Mango growing progress.

I have planted 6 Mangoes 2 of the mango plants I've already given away. I had one, where I accidentally snapped the tap root when removing it from its container however that hasn't stopped it from growing which is interesting to me "thats the medium sized one". I have noticed they all have different growing rates as well and all were planted at the same time and the biggest one I have started growing pretty quickly in the space of 3 days.

What are those containers you have them growing in, Kevin? I'm thinking unless you can cut them open down the sides you're going to have a lot of trouble removing them when it comes time to pot them up.

That's the reason flower pots are generally tapered towards the bottom. So you can get the root ball out intact and not break roots each time you need a bigger pot for your plant.

I ran out of plant pots. I have a little cutting tool when the time comes for them to be re-potted.

Update on Mango plants....

I just thought I'd do an update. The Mango plants are still doing very well with new growth. It would appear that I have 2 different species of Mango plants. I'll post some new pics in a bit.
