i have been given a pot plant but cannot find out what it is called, the stems are long and whitish the colour on the end is purple it looks like a trumpet on the end, the leaves are green in colour, thank you i have looked on your data base of plants it isnt any of them

Hi njlinklater, Welcome!

Your description is a bit confusing. Are the flowers trumpet shaped and whitish in color with purple tipped petals? There are many plants with trumpet shaped blooms and that coloration.

Is it possible to upload a photo here so that we can actually see the plant? I think a photo would help greatly with identification.

It seems the best way to get an accurate identification would be for you to upload some clear, in focus, detailed photos. I look forward to seeing you plant and to learn the identity.
