Discovered these lovely plants this summer. Don't usually bring any annuals in for winter but thought I'd try keepin these goin til next yr. one the leaves hav thinned out from the fat succulent leaves- interesting. Anyone else do this? Thoughts, ideas?

Welcome!

If your Portulaca are truly the annual kind, bringing them indoors will not extend their lives. Annual means they grow from seed, flower, go to seed and die, all in one growing season.

Your best bet is to save seed and start again next spring.

Sorry!

Thin leaves may mean not enough light. I think it's somewhat safe to say, most houseplants get not enough light and too much water.

Yes, or a diff type. I'd meant to ask more about what was meant by thin too but forgot to do so.
