Thelma has an extensive iris garden. At 95 she has trouble keeping the weeds in check, which gave rise to beautiful iris blooms coming up in a sea of daisies. A gardener's nightmare, but lovely to view.

Great looking Banner!
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

Nice banner Leslie! If those daisies are 'weeds' then I want some in my iris patch. Weeds sometimes give us beautiful scenery & flowers. Good job! Thumbs up

To Thelma and her girls they are weeds because they take over the garden in very large patches. Some of the iris get buried under daisies. I thought the daisies were beautiful and the lone iris struck my eye. Her iris garden is over an acre in size and she rides a scooter around to look at the blooms. It's a passion that has kept her going!
