I'm attempting to grow herbs indoors, but they are not growing very well and are really thin and tall. My little herbs are looking sad and are definitely not ready for harvesting anytime soon.
I don't have a spot for them near a window for natural sunlight, so I currently have them under an LED lightbulb. Do I need to fertilize them? Or are my seeds bad? Or does the lightbulb not provide sufficient enough light for growth? Any tips are appreciated! Thanks!

Welcome! The light bulb isn't giving them enough light. Herbs tend to be plants that need quite a lot of light in comparison to houseplants.

I agree, they need more light; something like a relatively inexpensive fluorescent "shop light" will work, if you keep it very close to the top of the plants and leave it on for about 14-16 hours a day. There are also newer, higher-power lights made for growing plants.

I will definitely provide more light to my herbs! I'll go purchase a fluorescent grow light. Thanks for your help everyone :)

And less heat. The grow lights will provide the light you need but will also produce heat. That makes your plants grow too fast and once again, stringy. Sighing!

More light and add a fan to keep the air moving. The fan will help the plants grow stronger stems.
