I think my basil plant has been infested with.... something. But I don't know what. Can it be saved?

Take the plant outside and shoot it with a spray of water to get the bugs off. Kind of support the leaves in the palm of your hand as you hit it with the water. The plant should be fine after that.

Walk slowly on your way out the door so you don't disturb your bugs. It looks like whiteflies. You don't want them to fly and infect everything around the basil.

Welcome! they look like aphids to me, green ones with their white shed skins.
