|I always remember when I first saw a photo of Spacecoast Color Scheme in a thread here and I knew I had to have this attractive bicolor. It is a small bloom with robust substance but not a miniature. The lighter colored sepals, however, are not always that contrasting to make an obvious bicolor. But when they do, it is a bloom that goes boom.
It has struggled a bit here in the subtropics and I recently moved it to a new position and it is starting to perform well at last. It is a rebloomer. It is pod fertile but I have never successfully set its pollen but such an achievement is not something that has been big in my list of priorities. I have not written down a rust score so far but will do so later.

|I received SCS as a gift from one of my fellow NGA pals. It wasn't labeled and I didn't know what to expect when I planted it, but was pleasantly surprised. I didn't have anything like it in my garden. It bloomed and rebloomed for me. It was a tad bit short but it's a keeper for me.
