I would have my whole yard in flowers if my husband didn't enjoy mowing the lawn so much. But inch by inch, I get a little more each year Hilarious!

I love the colors also and I've tried them so many times but they always get mildewed from all the humidity here. I think they would do well in a warm but much drier climate than I have.

I needed to see this. I'm coveting some hot pink daylilies but have been afraid the Crocosmia Lucifer, and overall hot color theme of my garden, would create some seriously ugly combos. But, finally realized that by picking later bloomers, I can and will have some Pink! I read an article on the net about this very thing. It was entitled Just Plant It! or something to that effect. That we should plant what we love, and if it pleases us, that is all that matters. No boundaries. Love this!
