|I have often noticed that I can spend a full day working out in the garden and after I come in and rest up, I start thinking about my day and realize that I have no memory of anything but the actual work I was doing. Now, I try to take time to lean on my shovel, rest on my rake, sit on the tailgate of my truck and just look around for a few minutes. I look at the trees, the sky, the birds, the plants and remind myself that the reason for all my work is for the enjoyment of seeing all these things and that I miss seeing them when I am too focused on just getting the job at hand completed.|

|You know, I remember once seeing my neighbor sitting in his tractor in the middle of a hay field just staring into the distance. I ACTUALLY GOT SCARED. I thought Oh no, has he had a stroke?? All he was doing was just enjoying the view. I have GOT to start taking the time to smell the roses instead of just spreading manure around them.
The end is nothing, the journey is all.
