The idea below is recently submitted, still waiting to hear back

This one was submitted sometime this summer and is still sitting waiting.

How long does it take for approval or disapproval?

Very surprised to hear that you didn't hear back in a day or two... Sometimes system glitches cause such delays....
Try writing admin, if Dave doesn't get back to you.

@Trish is never in a big hurry to approve ideas and get them into the queue, but she usually doesn't wait THAT long! Smiling She'll get these handles pretty soon, Chris.

I think it was probably just a small oversight as @Trish has probably been very busy as NGA COO, Wife, Mom, and caretaker of 90 acres and all that dwell there ... including the newest, sweet little member of the Whitinger family . Green Grin!

HI Chris,

I'm terribly sorry for discouraging you!

I have a habit of approving articles and scheduling them at the same time. I also try very hard to schedule articles at the most time-appropriate so that the most people will benefit. When your article came in, I thought that it was much better suited for an early spring article, so it is sitting in the queue waiting for it's appearance in the spring.

I am aware that I've frustrated a few people with my slowness of approvals this year. It's on my TODO to completely clean out and schedule the queue so that no one is left wondering! I should probably add "approve articles in a more reasonable time frame" to my resolutions as well *Blush* Whistling Big Grin

Thanks Trish, as I said I was curious what had happened. What about the idea for the hanging plant rack from PVC? That's what I'm using in my greenhouse now for the winter.
