There's this orchid I wish to get that I'm saving up for. it doesn't occur in nature but it's really cool none the less its called millium magic witchcraft and it has black flowers that smell spicy and goes into a dorment phrase
Sense this orchid is new to horticulture its very expensive

The orchid is sold at orchids unlimited for 75 dollars
I was wondering is this a good idea I've researched the needs and I'm into the weird and unuseal. it sounds simple enough just ignore it in winter allow to get really dry after the leaves die back and start to water it and feed heavily after the shoots are above 5 inches in spring

Give as much light and food as possible until leaves turn yellow in fall along with flowering then let get bone dry again

More like an amorphallus konjac than an orchid aside from the extra light corpse flowers need shade

Alex, I have that Orchid and it is ready to open a nice spike. I don't think it is difficult to grow at all, but 75 bucks sounds awfully expensive. I forgot what I paid, but it surely was less. I would look around for a better price.
Here are some more reasonable
