Really striking banner. Not much on the small screen, but on the larger one, it's terrific. Well done, Baja. Thumbs up

Thanks guys. As I like to say, agave leaves grow up in a group hug. Everything unfolds from there.

The reddish thorns are something I've never seen. Super cool banner baja
"My work is loving the world. Here the sunflowers, there the hummingbird — equal seekers of sweetness. Here the clam deep in the speckled sand. Are my boots old? Is my coat torn? Am I no longer young, and still not half-perfect? Let me keep my mind on what matters, which is my work which is mostly standing still and learning to be astonished." — Mary Oliver, from Messenger

That's actually the least alive the plant ever is (photo taken end of October after months with almost no rain). For a more cheery color set, try this younger version of the same plant. When they're really cranking, the center spines are almost yellow.
