is this a Chionanthus retusus? chinese fringe tree? it is found in los angeles county.

Not sure what it is.
But leaf stems don't have the twist for Chionanthus retusa. See below.

yes, i think i have to go back and check to see if it is there. I think i saw some twisted petioles but again my picture are not in good quality.
