I just realized I didn't receive the newsletter for Dec. 10 even though my profile is set to receive it. Was there some kind of quirk? I checked my junk email folders just in case and it wasn't there. Also, I did read it online, but I didn't see the "Noteworthy Acorn Tips". Were they in there and I missed them?

I removed the noteworthy acorn tips.

The newsletter keeps getting longer and longer the more stuff I add. The acorn tips are something that I think are of interest to only a very small group of members. With almost 140,000 newsletter subscribers, most of them aren't interested to know who got the most acorns in the past week.

Melanie, I checked and I see that your ISP is rejecting all mail from us right now (reason given: "too much mail sent").

I guess they think we're sending spam. We're not. I know of no way to push through that. Right now my mail server is continuing to try to send mail and will continue to try for up to 5 days from the original mailing.

If you could send a complaint to your ISP, that could help. They have a responsibility to accept legitimate mail for their customers.

My cable and internet provider just got bought out by another company so that may have something to do with it. I just checked my spam folder and I didn't see the newsletter, but there were two other newsletters I subscribe to in there. And I had already added one to the "safe sender" list the other day! Grumbling

Cable companies are the worst. Earthlink is by far the most challenging to get mail delivered to. Roadrunner is another bad one.

gmail has never given me any trouble. They accept all my mail every time without any complaints.

Frontier is a bad one, too. I have trouble getting mail through to my sister on Frontier. They keep blocking us at some point every year.

I have Roadrunner which was through Bright House which has now become Spectrum. Confused I'll keep an eye on my junk mail folder and see if adding to the "safe sender" list helps.

Love gmail because no matter who your service provider is, you never have to change your email address, it's always available on any device.

Mellie -- try calling Spectrum; my SIL lives in Florida and is in the same situation as you, has had all sorts of problems with her email. She called and actually got an excellent representative who got everything straightened out for her.

I've been with Charter for years -- also now "Spectrum" and am not having any problems with receiving the newsletters, FWIW. On the other hand, for some reason they throw a lot of stuff into the "junk mail" folder that isn't, and the system doesn't seem to "learn" no matter how many times i indicate that it is "not spam." Confused
