I adopted 2 plants and not sure what they are.
I think the 1st one is a African Violet it has a few old flowers that I tried to get in the photo they look purpleish when i see them but look dead in the photo.

I think you are right on with both of your IDs already: #1 - African Violet cultivar, & #2 English Ivy cultivar, though determining the exact varieties might not be possible. For the AV, blooms are a must to determine ID, and there are many that are very similar. Same with the English Ivy, though that one might be somewhat more possible to narrow down - but I only say that because I have less experience with them and so am less sure of the possibilities of narrowing down a specific variety.

The ivy should be hardy outside, just don't let it get loose in the ground.

Purpleinopp: Will most likely keep as a house plant for now.

The ivy just needs to get a trim . The african violets look healthy, there is 2 in the in pot. One was leaning over and was just about out of pot leaves look ok so just reset it
