|Can garden cress germinate indoors right now, with a grow light above them in a tray with aluminum foil lining? I am doing a science fair project on garden cress germination and I have to weigh them after and they stuck to the paper towels, so I tried aluminum foil lining. Will they still germinate?|

|You can grow cress as sprouts. If you do not have a seed sprouting tray you can use a glass jar.
Soak the seeds overnight in a glass jar. Cover the jar with mesh fabric and rain off all the water. Set the jar on its side exposed to light. The seeds/sprouts need to be rinsed with water twice a day.
Garden cress does not need the paper towels or aluminum foil. Cress can grow just about anywhere...as you can see in this popular photo by wetwebwork - http://flickr.com/photos/wetwe..., CC BY-SA 2.0, https://commons.wikimedia.org/...
