These bloomed for the first time this year and it is hell frozen over here so I have time to dink around on the computer. Most of these are Awesome hybrids, the frosted purple ones are from crossing "Lavender Frost" to a similar seedling derived from Lavender Frost.

Very nice, Lisa. I especially like the deeper lavender and yellow ones.

Thanks for taking the time, Lisa. Those are very educational, too.
Was Awesome pod or pollen parent on those, or are they a "mixed bag"?

They are predicting the lowest temperature in 3 years here - 25 below tonight. That use to be our normal before climate change.

AWESOME WAS THE POD PARENT

We are hell frozen over too, and have been like 4-EVER!!!!
It is warming up to just the 20's today (or supposed to) and SNOWING some more. S.N.O.W. is a 4 letter word.

PARD - I have been watching your weather, it is still BETTER than mine. Even the freezing rain part. I can no longer manage the steps to store my lily babies in the insulated closet (old coal chute) I made for them and have the shop full of them and plants. I have had to heat it this year for the first time to keep it close to 30F. My car is outside in the horrid weather, no room for it inside.......
At least the snow is light and fluffy, it is almost always dry here. We did have a lovely fall, 6 inches of rain in Oct (all time monthly record), after about 5 inches there were mushrooms fruiting here for the 1st time since I got stuck here. I had Fuchsias and Petunias blooming on my front porch the day before the weather went to hell frozen over. It always goes real sudden and real harsh and almost always very dry first so the ground is frozen solid before the snow, there is lots of street and yard flooding when it thaws. It is really hard on the plants this climate, it is a wonder to me anything ever evolved here.

Here is the view looking out from my front window, I am sitting at the computer with my electric slippers plugged in and I have some very unhappy cats keeping me company. But the snow is ending and soon I have to go uncover my car before it turns into ice.
