Second one possibly Scarlet Firethorn (Pyracantha coccinea)

I agree with Sue on the first picture.

However, I believe the second is indeed a variety of holly. See how the leaves are leathery and pointed at the tips? Pyracantha leaves are rounded at the tips. They also have those nasty thorns in the axils of the leaves.
Possibly Ilex cornuta 'Burfordii'??
When counting, try not to mix chickens with blessings.
