Hi I again today have an ad for a hook-up website (or more likely much worse) on my screen, Last week it was something like "Date Asian girls" with photos of scantily dressed models. Today it is "Russians" I tried the "unwatch" link, it turns it off until I log in again. It is hard to imagine you approving ads like this on this wholesome website! I am repelled by this kind of thing, probably not the only one on this site. I am guessing it is some kind of virus?
Sorry about the screenshot, I don't know how to capture only one screen.

Do you use Firefox
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

@dave, do you have any control over what ads are displayed?

@Pistil, you can take a screenshot of only your browser window by pressing ALT+PRNTSCRN at the same time. If you've made enough contributions to the site, you can also disable ads through your account settings.

Alternatively, I suggest an addon called Privacy Badger. It will block advertising that tries to track you (which is most).

@kniphofia - whilst I agree that the OP can install an ad-blocker, it doesn't resolve the issue that the OP has raised - that the advertising may not be suitable for young audiences.

I'm glad for this report and will look into it. I do have control and can block things.

Yah I do use Firefox, and also have an ad-blocker which normally seems to work fine, but these ones came up inside Garden.org so I figured they are either paid ads or some viral infection.

@Pistil, you can also go to your profile page, select: Change Site Preferences, scroll down to: Disable Ads on the Sitea and select: Yes, remove ads; scroll to the bottom of the page and select: Save Your Changes.
