Such wonderful weather today, we raked leaves and prepared for a dinner with the family here tomorrow.
Tonight we go to Midnight Mass, sing Christmas carols and celebrate the Birth of our Lord Jesus. Smiling

Hanukkah? Begins tomorrow on the 25th? It traditionally runs form the 25th of Kislev to the 2nd day of Tevet. Tomorrow we will be singing "Hanukkiah Li Yesh" as well as "We wish you a merry Christmas".

Hilarious! Hilarious! LOL James.

We had a high of 81 today. Unseasonably warm for us but the sun shone, the humidity was low and it was a gorgeous day.

Whatever your faith....or not....

I wish every single NGA member a merry, bright and peace filled Christmas!
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others.

We were raised mainly Christian by my mom's family, but my grandmother imparted as much Judaism as possible when she had time with us. I guess the main thing I took from it was her Yiddish. Whistling Hilarious! Es iz vas es iz, as she would say.

Merry Christmas to the Whitinger family may it be blessed with all things good Group hug

Happy Holidays to all of the members, no matter how we celebrate let us just give peace, love and kindness all year through Lovey dubby
It happens in a flash, but the memory of it last forever. It can not be borrowed or stolen, and it is of no earthly good until it is given away. So if in your hurry you meet someone who is too weary to smile, leave him one of yours, for no one needs a smile quite as much as he who has none to give...

I tip my hat to you. A holiday greeting to you all. Thanks for this friendly, "family away from home" Website.

It's the greatest feeling to get this many people, from this many countries and places on earth, to come together for a sharing of our various gardening passions. A big Thank You! to Dave and Trish and the many Moderators and participants who share and give so much of their time to help others with their gardening questions and who are so generous in their Acorn and Thumbs up giving encouragements!

What an incredible Group hug group hug this would be if we could all get together in person.

Love you all, Nora. Smiling

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all of you wonderful people here on garden.org.

My rosary went missing a few nights ago and I found it just as you can see on the picture below.
I used this as my Christmas card this year. Charle must have been playing with it and fell asleep with the cross on his paw. Wishing you all love, peace and joy.

This goes out to everyone here at garden.org. Thank you for allowing me to come into your circle of "family" and become one of you. I know very little about gardening, and even less about the plants' scientific names, but I know more common names than anything.

I want to pass on a wonderful wish, that I have given to my friends and family whom was unable to come and spend Christmas with me personally.

I wish that God blesses each of you the way He has blessed me this year. He has watched over my household and protected us from harm and has given us each other daily. May each and everyday be filled with lots of laughter, love, forgiveness, and peace. And to give each of us our blessings as He sees fit and as He decides. He does not live by our time, but that we should live by His. And that we look to Him when anything comes up or down that is not from Him directly. That even though we may have small concerns they are nothing for Him to handle. Because He can do everything, sees everything, and is everything.

Dear Lord,
I thank you for giving up your only begotten son to protect us from the shadows that lurk on the outskirts of the light. I thank you for giving us the light, which is Christ, so we may follow the correct path to your loving arms, where we will be safe for eternity.

Thank you Lord for allowing the other members of this forum, to become part of my life. And I pray Lord, that you will bless each and everyone as you have blessed me daily. I Love you Lord and know that you allow things to happen for the good and so the glory will be given unto you, Lord. With this prayer, I pray in the name of my Savior, your only begotten son, Jesus Christ.....Amen.

And to my Jewish brothers and sisters, Happy Hanukkah.
