I was looking for moss identification for a terrarium my husband got for me and I came across garden.org and saw daves name and was like ooohh what's this and I tried my old username and it worked yay. I've been trying to rebuild my gardens over the past 4 years and Planted some but didn't go crazy because I had the feeling that house wasn't permanent. And I was right we relocated back to our home town and I plan on going crazy this spring. ill die in this house. We have double the yard and the beds are already here. I have to rip out a ton of stuff that is going to be the death of me, euonymus rose of Sharon volunteers houtiyana ivy lol any way glad to see y'all still here .

Thanks guys! It's like 65 degrees here in the Louisville area we had the windows open and a thunderstorm rolled through perfect day to get my lists ready. I keep forgetting winter hasn't really hit us yet. So I must pace my self if I'm going to make it through Jan/feb.

Good to see you back! Ooooh, and the Louisville area is great for rose growing! I think it has something to do with the effect of the river, but I always am impressed with the roses I see grown in the area.

hi neal thanks! yea and the winters arnt that bad. we just moved back to this area from owensboro. good rose growing there too. such good dirt. some of ky has the hard red clay but luckily in all my houses ive had the grey clay and its so much easier to amend i think. yea im sure the river has a lot to do with it the air is always humid and theres that valley effect. not good for my sinuses though!
