Hi, I have a short juniper hedge (ground cover) in front of my house and a small patch of Juniper died - so I dug it up and replanted a small Juniper plant (I bought at a local store) When I planted it I noticed that it had a different shade of green from the rest of the Juniper hedge - not much different but noticeable. I planted it about six months ago - and I just noticed that it now has the same color as the rest of the juniper. Is this a function of the minerals etc. in the soil or is something else at play?
Many thanks,

Could be a blue juniper ?
Hear ! About a month or so ago. When they start growing they have a bluish tint on new growth.
Anything i say, could be misrepresented, or wrong.
