The Turbina oblongata quickly dropped all its leaves and the above ground vine dried up too when I brought the plant indoors to overwinter in the garage. I let it sit undisturbed for a couple months, and did not water it. Today I gently dug away the potting mix away from the plant to assess whether it was still alive and found it was making new growth. I am a happy camper.

That's great news Joseph! How old is the plant?
It happens in a flash, but the memory of it last forever. It can not be borrowed or stolen, and it is of no earthly good until it is given away. So if in your hurry you meet someone who is too weary to smile, leave him one of yours, for no one needs a smile quite as much as he who has none to give...

I believe it is in its third year now. It is not a very vigorously growing plant compared to some Argyreia species.

New growth from Turbina oblongata. I gave it a support and even wound it around the stick but it said no way and unwound itself.
