Several threads already talking about T5 HO lights. I'll start another. Just a few shots of mine. Gene

Blinking Brr ... I can't imagine a daytime high of only 4º!! I'm glad I live in Florida; it's currently 7:48 p.m. and 67ºF here! Our high today was 78º. Green Grin!

Gene, that looks great. Do you find the heat from the fixtures tend to dry the pots above the light at a rabid rate? I water some plants every other day, anything that is growing is bone dry in 3-4 days. With this very cold weather my house is down to 10% H, normal is around 50%.

Yes, anything on a shelf above a light does needs more water. Bottom heat is also good for seedlings. Get that humidity up. I keep my house at 35-45% all winter. Better for me and the plants. Gene

Gene, Very impressive collection you have. My wife would throw me and my plants out if I had half of what you showed. I push her to her limits now with my set up.
I have a lot of my plants under regular T-8's shop lights. Seems good enough for Sansevierias and my Asapiads but some do want more light. I was planing to switch to LED's if the cost goes down due to being cheaper on the elect bill. They are going down in price. My Haworthia and Aloes and Jades are in the windows and receiving very little light this time of year. Our lows was around your highs this week but now we are getting a warm spell above freezing. My humidity is extremely low and got to hook up our humidifier. Got every thing there, just too lazy to hook it up.
