Question. My daughter has a pot of mixed succulents she brought in for winter. She said they are shedding white all over. Is this normal? I don't know which one and we're traveling so I don't have a picture.

Its not normal but without a photo, its hard to say what the problem is. I would suspect an insect of some sort. I suggest she spray the plant with warm soapy water and see if that helps some. If it does, she has bugs.
