Late catching up. The one with green veining is so unique. Hope the veining comes back next year!

That white is insanely ruffled. I really like the peach and white that is third down in that group too.

I like #1 in the last post. You all are going to kick me, but too many ruffles on the white--loses the form of the falls.

Brad -- you have created a little slice of Oregon heaven right there in Iowa!!! It already looks like a showplace, and in five or so years when those young trees have matured some, it will be magnificent. I'm so excited for you! And count me among those who can't wait to see spring pictures. I seriously doubt that I will be able to go to the Convention this year, so not likely that I'll get to visit your place. But sooner or later -- I will -- and I'm surely looking forward to that!! Kudos, my friend. You done so so good!!! Thumbs up Lovey dubby Thumbs up

Thank You Everyone for taking the time to comment on them I'm glad you guys like some of these and I wish I had more to show you from this year but did not take a lot of pictures at home the 1st couple weeks was more in damage control mode and it was hard to concentrate on what was blooming at the time. I am looking forward to spring and hoping to finally see the rest of the crosses from 2012,13 & 14 they have all had time to root and should perform.

Rob.. Thank You I will enjoy it in April and May it will be great not to have any major projects going on and I'm due for a good bloom season Smiling

Maryann..Thank You I'm glad you liked the pictures it's not Oregon but I'm trying Rolling on the floor laughing now if I can just get mother nature and the plants to cooperate this spring Ill be thrilled.

I finally got some vacation time in we got out this weekend before the ice storm hit our area late Sunday Hurray! and it is wonderful to feel some heat and look at green again while home is in a deep freeze Green Grin! I spent a few hours killing time on the plane going over my notes of the seedlings that bloomed the previous year that I really liked and used in crosses it will be neat to see what the next generation brings from them and if the plants I picked to cross them with will get me the results I wanted. Thought I would share some of the ones I'm most looking forward to.

(Jealous Guy X Bratsivillan Prince) 13-4 I Loved the color of this one..

Glad you are having a break from this crazy weather. I'm sure where you're going you will have better weather. Smiling Just wonderful seedlings. I wish you would post just one at a time so we could comment on each one. Smiling There's just too much beauty all at once to take it all in. Either that or I'm too old to remember them all to comment on them. Rolling on the floor laughing Really love them all! Rumor Has It is one of my favorite plicatas, but I haven't been able to get it to work for me either way, good to know it can be done. I am sure you will get some really nice new ones out of the next generation of crosses. I know what you mean about waiting for some of the older ones to bloom. It drives me crazy waiting, plus it would be nice for me to be able to cull and make space. Oh well, This year most of the first year crosses should bloom, the clumps are getting huge.

The colours on 13-4! Lovey dubby It's bright and harmonious at the same time - which is quite a feat! Thumbs up

I'm hoping your Hibiscus-coloured iris project goes well. Could be very interesting!

Number 3 in the ( Electric Candy x Magical 13-80) bunch is also a real beauty! Reminds me of a shy sister to Bush Honey! (Yes, that is a good thing! Thumbs up )

That 13-6 is so cheerful, it puts me in a good mode just looking at the pictures - good luck ruffling her up! Crossing Fingers!

Loving the Jealous GuyxDouble Platinum cross color, Brad. The little touch of lavender in the beard - midst all that coral. Splendid! These are all standouts1
