That last set of pictures blew me away, I love them all, especially the ruffled and bushy bearded ones. If Brad was an iris vendor, all my money would go there... I tip my hat to you.

Bonnie.. Thank You I'm glad you like them Smiling I had a lot of nice looking flowers that year but very few of them were perfect at least for the 1st year but maybe this coming spring they may look different with branching and buds Crossing Fingers!

Tom.. Thank You 80 and sunshine here Big Grin I think all of these are on last years thread.. I'm excited to get into the Oregon pictures there stuff was amazing and some of them will be getting names this year.. (Rumor Has It) is fertile both ways and I really like it lot's of seedlings coming from it this year mixed in with Kieth's Plicata's hopefully something Wild in the bunch..

Daphne.. Thank You !!Yellows have come a long way and really compliment the darker colors in the garden.. (That's All Folks) is amazing for color and Kieth had one last year with blue Beards that was Lovey dubby excellent called (Blind Ambition) another one that comes to mind that I enjoyed this year was Joe Ghio's (Down to the Wire) really a stand out in bloom.

Rob.. LOL drooling is good Smiling but got lots of fun things to share from Oregon.

Les.. I was stunned when Plicata's started blooming from that cross.. one of the great things about our database here is when you look at the plant in it you get the parentage highlighted and any children that may have come from it, so we are able to trace back these along ways by clicking on the link. (First Avenue is a combination of a lot of plants one of them being (Poem Of Ecstasy) the pod parent of it (Merry Madigal) came from (Stepping Out) a plicata and somehow I hit the right combinations of genes which gave me the plicata's .. I am hoping to cross some Plicatas onto First Avenue Shrug! wondering if I can get some more out of it. It may lead to something new or nothing but I like to find surprises in the Garden Smiling

Jane.. Thank You !! They were favorites !! really neat colors in the garden on those 2.

Liz.. Thank You that may be a possibility one day but time restraints make it impossible to do at this time.. I could hardly keep up with the weeds and maintenance this year let alone trying to dig and ship all over the country Smiling and get them to people on time.. but hoping to slow down some of my other projects in the coming years and maybe in the future if I can get some good plants that people want I may do something like a small website Smiling

The yellows and oranges seem to draw my attention when they are in bloom, and the seem to also set off the other colors near them. IMHO Smiling

Brad, going to start saving now--want to be as close to being the first ordering from your future site as I can get. So many of your seedlings are unique, with nothing even close to be found and I look forward to seeing future blooms.
I tip my hat to you. I tip my hat to you. I tip my hat to you.

Oh, nice to see Joe's new ones.. I've got Folies Bergere, so I could easily see myself getting 3 more.. I don't know how your's compare with bud count and branching, but you've got the form, color and ruffles (!!) down cold. I'm wondering which ones of yours that Joe likes..

Lili.. 13-4 was a perfect color and I have high hopes for that one Smiling The Hibiscus project will take a while but I would Love a Orange/Pink with the Red Hafts or throat like you see on a hibscus.. My crosses using (Chestnut's Roasting) one of Lesley Blyth's are giving the dark red hafts so found something to work with Smiling I also noticed a couple seedlings at Mid America that have those marks Lovey dubby will the next generation pass it on ? lot's of projects..

Gabe.. You mentioned (Electric Candy) it is one of my personal Favorite's that I grow of Barry's plants it does really well for me and the color is a Knock out in the garden especially when back lit in the sun. I have been using it a lot the past few years and so far have been getting some interesting seedlings my favorite is the Magical cross.. but I also had these seedlings bloom so far mixed with some of Kieth's plants. I like the multi colored beard on the 2nd one the best it was probably the best all around had nice form and had a thin wire that ran around the edge of the falls I liked it. Lot's more to bloom from these crosses should be interesting.
