A Heritage Non G M Organic raised version only please.
I only grow full organic fruit and veggies.
Having a problem getting this and an organic gooseberry bush

Hi! I like Russet apples too. Apple tree varieties are not normally grown from seed. They are grafted from a specific variety like Granny Smith or Roxbury Russet (there are many kinds of russeted apples) so all Granny Smith apples are exactly the same, they are clones. An apple tree can be grown from a seed but the tree will likely be huge, and likely not have very tasty apples. You could just buy an apple of the russeted type, and grow the seeds. The "father" of those seeds could be any kind of apple, as apples are not "self-fertile" so you only know the mother. It's a long time to wait for what will not likely be a very good apple! Apple seeds need to be "stratified" which means they need a cold moist period like winter in order to sprout.

Here is a link to a nice article about the Russets, from a UK company that sells a lot of them.
