I managed to run a packet of seeds through the wash. The packet stayed closed but the seeds managed to get wet. The label was on a small pink slip of paper inside the bag, anything legible didn't survive the wash so I have no idea what the seeds are. I didn't want the seeds to just go to waste so I planted them to see if they will grow. If they come up i may need help to identify what they are *Blush* so has this ever happened to any of my fellow seed growers? Whistling

I think you will be surprised at how many of us that has happened to *Blush*

Consider it a fun experiment to see what you will get!

I haven't run them through the wash, but I have left them out in the rain. My solution was the same, plant them and see what comes up.

Thanks foe the reply. I have high hopes they will grow. They were from DnDsallseedswap.from this past Nov 2016. They were med small seeds, tan in color. About 20-25 seeds in a 1" x 1" little zip lock baggie. There was a little pink piece of paper folded in half inside the baggie. I couldn't read it after I washed it. Does it sound familiar to anyone I bought seeds from? Just thought I'd ask Whistling

If you go back to DND's swap, probably many of us are still watching the active thread.
The thread "Results (seeds from swap #3)" in DND's ALL SEEDS SWAP (Int'l) - #3

The "1x1 inch" Ziploc sounds quite unusual. Maybe that plus the pink slip will let the donor identify themselves. (But what if it used to be a WHITE slip with red text?)

Then they can just look at their outgoing "sold" list, filter on "Agoo" and tell you what they sent you.

(I guess your scenario defeats putting our names on each packet we trade! But I have access to a laser printer that I think resists water!)

Rickcorey thankyou for the suggestion. I actually noticed a missing seeded pck i was very excited to be getting so i. Went over my bought list to see who had sold me that pkg and asked them. I gave them the same description as i gave here. They said it might have came from them. Or maybe i didnt get them at all due to some mix-up. Anyway some of the seeds are coming up. Now i will just have to wait and see what they grow up to be
