|I wonder how many plants out there in (our) gardens are not what they appear/claim to be: plants with the wrong cultivar name, or even worse; an entirely different species!
I came upon an article about 'Snow Queen', an iris. It was sold to be as I. sibirica, but in that online article it said that this was a common misconception and it's actually I. sanguinea I feel so betrayed right now!
