Please can any help? I bought this fig as a white genoa some 30 years ago and it has never borne edible fruit. I have a purple fig as well but it fruits in Feb-March. Bought from an elderly Italian orchardist- was quite expensive at the time. Told me it was the best fig.

I grew up in fig country: hot and dry. The white Genoa figs were only grown on the coast where it is cool and humid.

You don't say where you live but maybe your fig is not well suited to your climate.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming...."WOW What a Ride!!" -Mark Frost
