Our peace lily is seemingly healthy, but it stopped blooming white. Now all new spathes are green and small. Anyone know why?

The spathes are actually modified leaves. As the flower ages, the spathes gets greenish hues. It does photosynthesis too, so it is behaving like a typical leaf. Mine did that too, surprisingly still staying around since it first showed up in July last year.

Btw, if it is a new spathe, it also starts green first then it goes white, then turns green again when it ages well.

Mine aren't doing that--they were turning white at first, but over the past few months they've been staying green and small. But I recently realized it's only been doing that since it got cooler. I read somewhere else that sometimes changes in conditions can cause this.

It's otherwise healthy.
