I believe this is such a good quote. My garden really is my best friend. It is always there, good times and bad, always gives me a sense of stability, accomplishment. It's where I go to reflect on my life, to critically examine who I am and what kind of person I am. My garden accepts my faults but at the same time, helps me to correct them.
The end is nothing, the journey is all.

I agree Annie. When I am walking through my garden, it gives me such a peaceful feeling.

When I am sitting on the back patio and I am facing the garden, it isn't long before I have to get up and walk around just to be closer to the plants. I always seem to find something to trim, weed, or smell, but I love it!

Oh, me too. I think there's few things as nice as taking my morning cup of coffee out into the garden and just wandering around and looking at things. And I almost always end up doing something...

For one, my plants never talk back to me sarcastically (I figured I put that out first, lol)

I love them, they do give me that sense of accomplishment also Annie. My plants are also my company most of the time. I love to sit out there and read, I feel at peace among my friends (plants).

I feel a sense of accomplishment and happiness when I look at and work with my garden. And with the pleasure that they give me, I can pay them back by taking care of them. They do speak to you. Just not with words. It also feels good to put life where there wasn't life before. They are friends of mine and I want my friends to be happy.
